I have finally decided on who my mentor is going to be. Granted, I have not asked them yet but I plan on meeting up with Jenny Sun soon so we can discuss my Final Product ideas and I can ask for her to be my mentor.

Jenny Sun was the last person that I have interviewed from my mentor search so far: she is a UI Designer at a Washington-based consulting firm and -- although she specializes in UI rather than UX -- I feel I am able to learn a lot from her given that she has also worked as a generalist and has therefore experienced a wide variety of IT that I have yet to learn. I am planning on asking Jenny to be my mentor this coming Sunday and once I ask her, I am then going to be able to progress in the ISM-related tasks I need to do: my mentor bio page, will then be able to accurately fill out my mentor log, and will feel more prepared for the upcoming showcase in two weeks.

In regards to my app, Mason and I are going to be meeting up next week to discuss some technicalities and issues he has but as of right now, my main focus is on Jenny and how I am going to ask her to by my mentor, as well as how I am going to show her my app designs. I plan to work on my app much more until we meet up in a few days to ensure that I present a quality product to her, so these next few days will be composed of working on my app, completing ISM work, and finishing up my display board for showcase. Furthermore, I feel I am slightly behind in regards to my ISM work, but I am finally catching up and getting back on track. Once I meet with Jenny and continue to work out the kinks to my app, I will be in a better position in ISM and will be completely ready for showcase.
