For the past few days I have been working on perfecting my board, updating my product proposal, getting ready for showcase and making updates to my app.
For showcase today, I plan to get a picture with my mentor and update my board to include the new photo that I have of my mentor, Jenny. I recently took Jenny’s headshots at the star as she had never had a professional headshot done before and I am going to utilize some of the pictures from that photoshoot for my ISM display board! Aside from my physical board, I am excited to see everybody else’s boards during showcase today too and cannot wait to see who shows up to see what I have been working on. One of my main goals for today is to be open-minded about any advice I get, tips I receive, to be humble about compliments if I receive any, and to be willing to learn and experience anything new.
My last goal for the week is to update my digital portfolio. As of right now, my digital portfolio is not as appealing as I would like for it to be. Although it does incorporate my color scheme well, I would like for it to include more of my assessments, blogs, photos of my app, and graphics that I have made over the past year. I have a lot of ideas in mind for the updates to my portfolio and plan to work on it for the majority of the weekend to ensure that my website adequately reflects the work I do.
Overall, things are going smoothly, I am bonding more and more with my mentor, I have tangible and optimistic goals for showcase, and I am continuing to plan and work on my improvements to my portfolio. I am excited for the work that I have to do this work and will hopefully learn a lot from today’s showcase.
